I think it depends so I can't decide, Cunning seems useful for getting our of trouble, or influencing things to go your way. Wisdom seems useful for staying out of trouble entirely (unless it finds you) and, as a tool to put one on the path to success. Wisdom seems the more altruistic of the two, but not as effective against one's foes. Cunning is useful to deceive enemies and allies alike, to ensure one comes out on top each time.

There is certainly some overlap, a wise one will be more effective at applying their cunning effectively, and someone drawn to cunning strategies will apply wisdom appropriately, both require intelligence.
