Well this site actually functions for more than 20 mins out of the entire day, so based on that alone, sold.
So far so good, or so I thought. Just today learned that the users here don’t downvote each other. Seriously, like ever. Reminds me of school children in a school where everyone is a winner.
Fuck that! I downvote as I want
It's not Voat. Feels like Voat and the worst part of Reddit had a rape child.
Kek.
Not bad, except for some faggotry involving the downvote function.
Yeah, admins posted cringe with that one.
Functions better, and as long as I got my fellow goats here making merry, I like it
It has replaced VOAT an my main source of news. Can't trust MSM and wonder about OAN and Newsmax.
I don't really trust any of them, alternative media seems too narrative-focused, just in the opposite direction of the MSM. Better overall, I guess on occasion?
At this point, so much misinformation everywhere from every source I don't really trust anything I read and mainly just read it for entertainment at this point.
Amen to that.
The uptick in content and users has been very noticeable. I like the site and the community is nice enough.
It seems a bit less hysterical here which I'm enjoying.
It’s not bad. Curious to see how it holds up and how admin responds when dramafags and worse attempt to ruin it.
It's alright. It's definitely more tame than Voat. There are a bit more normie tier posts but some quality posts here and there. Less boomer memes than Voat, so that's a plus. At least free speech exists here. No real complaints other than the restrictions on downvoting. Also, the site hasn't been down even one time (that I've noticed) since I've switched, so that's nice.
i like it - conversation is better and there's less bullshit here vs. voat
i also like that boobs runs a Mumble server where we can talk to each other
i know there's resentment from some poalers about the influx, but i think that will settle with time and the help of the d/v algo
I feel the same. There’s a lot less negative posts and I haven’t even wanted to down vote anyone.
Tried to quote another user that didn’t show up so obviously still a learning curve re: functionality.
for a quote, just begin a line with > followed by a space - typical markdown syntax
Thank you.
There's a mumble server? shoot that's cool!
yeah, look in the sidebar for 'Other Services by Poal.co' - you can join via a web interface or the
