I'm trying to create a sub, but the sub name "Survivors of Psychiatry" I would like says "Please match the format requested. Alphanumeric characters" when I click the "Create Sub" button after a successful captcha.

Is the Levels algorithm a secret or is the working posted somewhere?

You get points by posting things and having them upvoted, by making comments and having them upvoted, and generally trying to be a decent member of the community. It's actually pretty easy to get to 10. Don't downvote unless it's spam.

I would say start by posting your SurvivorsOfPsychiatry posts in and then when you hit level 10 make your sub and advertise it in Subintro. Maybe will even move your old posts to the correct spot.

I'm trying to work out how to hit Level ten. In https://poal.co/welcome it says Level 6 360 points, Level 20 4000 points. It doesn't seem to say what a point is. It may be obvious, but I assume it to be net upvotes.

It says nothing about Level 10 to create a sub. And that is not the reason the sub was rejected. And it doesn't say how many points are needed to get to Level 10.But apart from that all seems to be going well.

I just refreshed myself on these mechanics and it seems you only need to hit level 2 (green username) to create subs. So 40 points. Upvotes and comment upvotes I think.

As far as the improper reason for rejection: FEATURE REPORT!
