Is suicide permissible if only certain types of people do it? Does it not matter who does it, it's always fine morally? Is it always immoral no matter the situation?

Edit: I'm not suicidal at all, just wondering how you all view the subject from a moral standpoint.

if you can kill yourself using instruments that are longer than you are tall, there is no karmic consequence.

so you shouldn't kill yourself with a knife, but if you can jab yourself good with a spear that's taller than you it's ok.

buildings are taller than you so jumping off of them is ok.

poison is bad.

guns are bad.

hanging is ok as long as the rope is longer than you are tall from the holdfast to the bottom of the loop. don't measure before the knot is tied. only after.
