Anyone have any experience dealing with this sort of thing? I got some family that treat religion like spiritual tourism, always monkey branching from one to the next, always instantly full throttle into the new thing as soon as they leave the previous one. Almost always within the Christianity orbit, but one was actually dumb enough to become a messianic jew. It’s so fukn hard to address religion or morality with someone stupid enough to willingly take on Judaism without just crushing their entire life.

Messianic Judaism Christians is an oxymoron. Judaism is the opposite of Christianity. If a Christian converts to Judaism, they are given fables to keep them in the dark as to what Judaism really is.

i never heard the term for Christians converting to jewry. I've known christian ministries that specialize in recruiting & converting jews - and i always thought that's what messianic Christians referred to.

They basically just larp as Jews that accepted Jesus instead of crucifying him. Still think Jesus is the only way to salvation, but keep all the old jewish holy days and celebrations based on their many genocides.

Don't know any personally. But I heard a good sermon by one on Passover and how much Christian symbolism is within the celebration.
