Most of us didn't start out knowing the truth about our world, we had to find it. There's usually a "point" at which most of us started learning about (((what's going on))) and some of us have also migrated before Voat.

Before Voat I was on r/CringeAnarchy, and before that on r/CoonTown.

Now that we've all found our way to Poal, let's reflect.

Where was your "starting point," where do you hail from?

A big change for me was when I stopped watching broadcast TV in 2009. The Podesta Emails were another big turning point. I don't discuss politics in company, but when I realized people I knew had zero interest in smoking-gun evidence from leaked emails and unsealed documents, yet they had every intent on repeating after Oprah, Whoopie, or Ellen (I'm talking about middle aged men with IQ's over 100, not immigrant house wives), I decided I'm simply never associating with TV-watchers again.
