Some submissions here have a blue highlight, some have a green highlight, others have no highlight at all. What do the highlights mean and who highlights them?

Some submissions here have a blue highlight, some have a green highlight, others have no highlight at all. What do the highlights mean and who highlights them?

I don't know for sure, but my guess is they are unread since you've entered the sub.

The highlights are posts in subscribed subs

Also if you mod a sub they are highlighted a different color

Green highlights are posts in a place you subbed. Blue highlights are to a default sub (aka, one of the ones on the top of your screen you didn't put there).
