He simply went to a website (that creates webapps for android) and typed https://poal.co and generated an APK.

Adding that no one knows what that generated code might contain (without disassembling and analysing it).

This is a good point.

to be fair, apks are just zips and are just-in-time code so it's easy to pick them apart. it's why shit like blapkmarket existed -- it's super easy to crack android user apps
