Very similar to poal from what I can tell - a free speech version of reddit. It has a culture and beliefs similar to those of /pol/. It was also a place for reddit-refugees who were not turned off by coarse language and naughty opinions. After I got redpilled, I went looking for a community of people who had learned what I had learned, and I found voat. To me, it was a community of semi-sane people reaching out to one another in an insane world.
