That isn't even a matter of manners, that's just common sense, it's far easier to get in without people walking out at the same time.

You'd think that it would be common sense but it feels like a daily thing to have some oblivious sheep nearly plow into me as I'm disembarking. I can't recall the last time I heard a patent correct their kid for rushing in as soon as the doors open.

Yeah, and on public transit wait on the sides of where the doors open onto the platform, so let the people getting off go straight off
