If it is real and the list is really that big, then chances are I have associated with people on that list because I work in a STEM/Tech field. It might be interesting reading. But right now it looks like smoke and mirrors. Normally when you see headlines about a 'leak' it is fairly easy to go find it... this time I am just finding more articles about the list, not the list itself.

That's kind of my point... if the list is 2m+, then there would be at least a few at every major tech firm, every pharmaceutical firm, every aerospace firm, etc. Statistically, if you work somewhere in STEM/Tech and have a big rolodex, you should be able to give the list a 'smell check' just by reading it.
