I've been wondering how you'd see this, seeing as you attribute consciousness to beetles.
Why wouldn't a beetle have what you consider to be consciousness?

An insect brain is almost certainly not complex enough to have any sense of self awareness, i mean i could be wrong, im not an entomologist, but insects are just little biological based robots with self preservation (to an extent) programming.

Okay, but why should I care how advanced/complex their minds are? Was this in relation to eating pigs or something?
