I really do keep meaning to stop by, its been a hell of a year for me. Things are looking way way up though bumps along the road but I'm keeping it together. Finally found some gainful employment but I probably will lose my house which sucks, but worse things have happened to better people than me.
Other than that life is good.
Well that certainly sucks about the house. Hopefully you can look back in the years to come and see it as a step forward but I'm sure it doesn't seem that way now. I try to be an optimist but I'm concerned the next several years are going to be hard for many people, especially hard working people who are trying hard to do their best. Hang in there.
Oh I will, I'm not one to quit or give up to a fault. Its just not in me.
I read this post mainly due to the question so let me offer this song. I posted it a while ago but I found it not only as an example of her lifetime of talent but also the message of the lyrics. It's a remix of Joni Mitchell's Both Sides Now. After 50 years of writing and composing, the maturity of her voice and life experiences, I think it stands as a fine example of what we have already discussed about vocals and also lyrical content. Her phrasing in this is so appealing.
