Pretty fuckin sweet.
American Football - Home Is Where The Haunt Is. I'm learning it on guitar so I have to back it up and figure out the nuances.
Depressing and slow. I love it. I've been listening to Chris Cornell cover Nothing Compares To You.
Just listened to the live version Cornell did at SiriusXM studios. Not my style but I appreciate his voice. Good stuff!

That song in particular has been the subject of memes
American Idiot by Green Day just a catchy song man.
I read somewhere a long time ago, around the time this song came out, that Green Day treats the military like a piece of shit.
Huh I did not know that, I try to keep the art separate from the artist if you want to enjoy any media at all these days it seems its either do that or just drop all forms of music movies and tv, which I admit I probably should do less of all 3 but I do enjoy music quite a bit.
Preach it, Brother. I've advocated this for a long time. Ars gratia artis:
Art for art's sake is a phrase that expresses the philosophy that the intrinsic value of art, and the only 'true' art, is divorced from any didactic, moral, political, or utilitarian function.
Of all the bands I grew up with I could never get into greenday for some reason. I think it's the singers voice.
I don't know I don't like all of their stuff that one its just something about the actual music.
Actually I don't mind boulevard of broken dreams to be fair.
