As you may know from my posting here I am in the Socialist state of New Jersey until my current contract ends in April.
I just got off the phone about a potential new gig that would start in two weeks but my choice of location is limited to the two locations where the company has data centers.
Money aside, which would you choose?

Coastal Carolina for sure. Wilmington by chance? It's a beautiful old southern city w/ nice old gentrified suburban neighborhoods w/ craftsman style houses in the surrounding areas. There's one street that stands out in my mind completely lined w/ live Oak trees. My cousin lives there and we went down for her wedding and rented a house. I'd relocate there from where I am outside RIC in VA in a heartbeat. Also great parks with unimaginably huge live oaks draped in moss on the water. It's not so far south you feel like you're living w/ swampass all year either. Weather is great and varied in Wilmington. Definitive seasons and 4 of them w/ the rare snow.

Not as far south as Wilmington but within an easy drive. I love that area of NC and can easily picture myself there.
