When I have an image already on a URL is it better to provide the web url to copy the pic is downloading or copy/pasting the image better?

I have noticed that copy/pasted images seem to end up as png files while web urls seem to be jpeg files, is that better if the file is shorter?

Pic8 (Pic Infinity) was created by @AOU. It has good interop here, but you're free to use any image site you like.

I suppose even that faggot-shit-heap Imgur works.

I used to run pic8. Then I lost my virginity and lost interest. I gave it to @picman but I believe he traded it to @waltfuckinwhite for some cement work.
