obviously improving the living conditions of 3rd world countrys would be helpful, that might limit population growth because people with better living conditions get less children as is exhibited by the european and us-american population. Rich people get less kids, poor people get more kids.

What? And who's going to do that??? Look at china, they improved their living conditions, on their own (they are east asians, not african btw), and look at the result! It's anything but eco or friendly
