I got to thinking about this just because of the commonness of finding shapeshifters amid pro-nationalist movements. Lauren Southern was originally Lauren Simonsen (I know, not WN but still on that spectrum and definitely branded as one by globalists); I learned yesterday that Tommy Robinson was born Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon (again, not WN but still generally pro-nation and branded as WN by the left); and I've even heard Sean Little being accused of having Zionist ties or being an outright Zionist using his anti-semitic platform as a way to 'trick' the goyim into supporting Zionism.
It does seem like an interesting phenomenon. My first thought is welp, another cohencidence. But I wanted to consider an alternative theory: namely Zionism and nationalism are compatible beliefs.
As I understand it, Zionism is the belief that Jews should have a state just for Jews. And if you subscribe to that belief, wouldn't it also make sense for whites to have states just for whites? Blacks for blacks? Asians for Asians? It seems hypocritical to be ethnonationalist for yourself but not endorse any flavor of nationalism for others.
Problem is, in practice Zionists are accused of promoting a 'nationalism for me but not for thee' stance. Supposedly because they are Jewish supremacists who think all goyim are below them and should be pitted against each other so they are more easily ruled. It seems like there's some good evidence for that when you look at who's supporting globalism, mass immigration, and wealth redistribution.
However: Can we automatically assume that because someone's a Zionist (or even just a Jew), that they're anti-nationalism? Why?
Maybe, if they can be differentiated, these globalist parasites are just as much a plague to the Zionist cause as they are to any other, because they essentially invalidate the claim for Israeli monoculturalism? Maybe the only reason Israel has strong borders, gets to take land and shoot palestinians, and gets to deport refugees is because they're a fairly new nation that this multiculturalism monster hasn't been able to sink its tentacles into (yet).
edit: be gentle i'm barely educated on this stuff
