About half an hour, but the fucked up part was that there were only two people in front of me. Half an hour to process two people, in a city of 1.5 million people.
I got a feeling Philadelphia is gonna be a shitshow.
Wow.
Yeah, I wouldn't doubt Philly being ground zero for the shitshow.
Largest city in the most important swing state, and we already had race riots this past week.
Nearly all the shops and stores are boarded up. A van with explosives in it was discovered earlier in the week, people have been blowing up ATMs. Also, October had 65 homicides, making it the deadliest month in Philadelphia history.
It took 25 years to build the new Philadelphia, and it feels like it has only taken 6 months to tear it back down.
It’s probably been covered but why do you live there? It sounds horrible
It's really sad what has been happening.
Gonna be?! Hasn't it pretty much been a shitshow for awhile now?
Not at all.
To vote in person we had to drop off our pre-filled ballot and I just happened to get there when there was no line at all.
Nice. I didn't get a ballot until I got to the polling place.
So the pre-filled ballot, was that something you had to request be sent to you?
Remember, I'm back in NJ until this work contract ends and everyone here got one in the mail, including dead people, pets, out-of-staters, and children.
oh wow!
So basically anyone could get one, fill it out and drop it off, even if it wasn't yours?
Line was about 15 or so minutes. There were only 8 spots for 'personal distancing' available to vote. Once I got my ballot, I think I was finished up and counted in about another 3. I didn't trust the straight vote, which I don't usually do anyhow, so I made sure to fill out each spot individually.

Rural county. Walked right in, wife and I were almost alone. were 19th and 21st votes cast.
In and out in my little rural village about 50 miles outside the big city.
I voted yesterday to not have to worry about it today.
35 mins
like, negative 18 hours?
...since I voted yesterday. Place was full, but there was no line right when I got there. The line at the car wash was longer than the voting line.
