Cabin is far less mobile, hot tent can go anywhere but far less insulated. Shit hits the fan scenario which would you choose? I am also disqualifying the RV option.

But more comfortable, and is quick and easy, assuming you can afford one.

I've spent plenty of time in tents. Gemerally, they aren't the best places when it rains.

I would think with a hot tent wood stove setup it wouldn't be too bad.

Size. quality and weather will make a huge difference. Most tents I've been in would wick water, meaning the fabric inside would be wet to the touch if it was raining. Pillows or blankets touching would slowly become soaking wet. Mold can easily form. Tents provide little protection from falling branches or from predatory humans/wildlife.
