It's such a common occurrence that specific examples are hardly called for. Among the common people, those who identify as Republican/main stream right wing party of whatever country are frequently so indoctrinated with our subversive trash media culture that they are effectively communists. They will listen whenever the "consensus" tells them 'you may have your principles, but we just have to lose this time because of some reason' (muh minorities, muh feminism, muh virus, muh Russian hackers, muh WMDs, muh global warming, muh anti-Semitism, muh list goes on). The consensus of course is usually manufactured, but if you find a so-called right winger advancing some of these ideas then they are likely to go along with the communist agenda because they can't recognize the communist agenda even when the backdrop to that ideology is coming out of their own mouths.

I know you've met folks who are on this level in your real life.

If you want to name some famous people, John McCain, Dan Crenshaw, Ben Sasse, the Bushes, Marco Rubio, all the Judeo-christian political commentators (that is, Jews with a predominantly Christian audience (Shapiro, Prager))) -- but I doubt whether these famous unknowing commies are actually unknowing and not just schemers. I am primarily referring to the people you meet in real life who are just a little too uncritical to perceive perverse agendas, and so they buy into and advance communist bs.
