Are the winds of change upon us, or are we marching to our collective doom? I don't know anymore, and I'm really starting to question our place in history. How would our ancestors feel about what we have become? What is it realistically going to take in order to get the world back on the right track? Everything is such a clusterfuck right now, and alot of people who were on fire a few years ago, are now apathetic, and I can't help but to suspect that that is how the powers that be want it. We've been effectively desensitized by copious amounts of bullshit. How much more is it going to take before everyday people start speaking out...

There is an old quote from the French revolution... I'm probably misquoting a bit but in general it was "Despite the unrest, the revolution did not really start until doctors and lawyers started to starve. Only then did the cause gain momentum."

The general message being that the natural leaders in society tended to rise above the lowest ranks of ladder. Only when things got bad enough that all but the top are forced into action will a revolution take place. What you are seeing now is precisely that... Despite everything going on the middle class of the world is still doing ok; and by that I mean they are not starving and can still prepare for the coming storm we all see on the horizon. In the US for instance blue collar jobs and service industry jobs have been decimated and millions of people missed Sept/Oct rent but white collar workers largely were able to transition to remote work etc. Everyone sees the shitshow but those of us who have a capacity for leading and organizing a movement are too busy stockpiling and preparing. The current movements like BLM are astroturfed by malignant billionaires. There is no real grass roots action yet. There is popular support for change but it is not organized. The natural leaders of the middle class are still armchair-quarterbacking. The real storm will only come when the lawyers and doctors start to starve.

Forget top-down solutions and .

Use crypto and metals, move away from communist revolutions if the people won't stop them.

It's only going to get worse unless funds are cut off from violent extremist groups and those funding them are held accountable. Those funding the violence are also funding those in power and those in power would never vote themselves out of a job or to cut their benefits or pay. So, it's only going to get worse. Especially when everyday people speak up and take action.

"How would our ancestors feel about what we have become?"

Sorry, that's how

"What is it realistically going to take in order to get the world back on the right track?"

An awful lot of sorrow

Don't be that guy. Everything will turn out fine, if you work to make it that way.

I've been hearing how bad things are for over 60 years now.

I harvested some vegetables from my garden. Hiked 20 miles this weekend. That's what I focus on

That's whats up. The more we focus on that sort of thing, the more it pisses zog off.

My liberal friends, that I've talked politics with, are now completely batshit crazy, so consumed with hatred for Trump, that they are incapable of a polite, coherent conversation.

I just read an article about how hellish life on a college campus is now.

I am saddened by all the formerly-respectable news media that is now simply a propaganda machine.

I fear for the future of my country. If Trump wins there will be massive rioting. If Biden wins, there will be little hope at all.

Ive had the exact same experience. Its troubling how far gone these people are.
