Went to post up something for sale and was prompted to provide a number for verification. I didn't and I won't. Tracking and data mining is getting ridiculous and out of hand. I'm also losing out on some contracts because I refuse to create a google account, which requires phone verification, to access companies drives.

That's been for quite a while for certain categories. It's been a long time since I posted there, it was just a pain in the ass dealing with all the idiots that can't read "This phone is locked to T-Mobile and doesn't work on any other carrier" and being constantly asked "What's the MEID?" Or "Does this work on Sprint?" so they may have implemented it for all categories.

Reminds me to check and see if I have an account and close it.

Thanks for the info. Could very well have been due to me trying to use an email alias as well since I'll be damned if they get any sort of identifying info from me.

Looks like it's to a pawn shop or throwing this thing in the bin.
