True story - I tried it and was by far the best coffee I ever had. In fact there is scientific data on this that shows it helps improve blood flow to your brain!!! Actually kept a bottle of Bailey's at the office for years and then one day just stopped doing it. Don't know why. Just tired of the same thing I guess. Def give it a try!

Gonna repost my comment in case you guys don't see it. For a step beyond the bailey's + coffee thing. I think the effects are the same as I've tried both. Bailey's tastes better but L-theanine is more effective for cognitive effects.

Ok how about piracetam? Ever try that? If not, give it a go! Takes a while to load up and need a lot (buy bulk), but definitely has an impact. Not something for regular every day life, but if I was a student I would 100% be on theanine and piracetam.

I'm prone to migraines and caffeine is one of the triggers. I'll drink tea and even a soda sometimes but I have to do certain things afterward to make sure it doesn't turn into a migraine.
Honestly, It is kind of strange watching the entire country get buzzed all around me, all the time...and nobody thinks anything of it...an entire society running off an upper. I've actually brought it up in a job interview as a disadvantage I face compared to co-workers (it worked).

Best way to make a coffee. Get a scale, a chemex and bamboo filters and a timer. I highly recommend reverse osmosis water. Fuck that poisoned tap water.
You'll need 5.5 tbps of coffee for 2 cups of water or 1:15 ratio.
First wet the filter and let all the water drip away. Then place the Cheney on the scale and tar it out. Next place the coffee in the filter. Pour enough water to wet the grounds but don't let it rise. This should take a full 30 second pour. Then with a wooden spoon stir it a little bit. This first part is called blooming.
Once this is done you should now add 525g of water over the next 2 minutes. you should pour in a circular motion starting from the outside in.
Wait another 2:30 and you've got yourself the best hand brewed coffee in the west.
I had no idea people got this elaborate with it. Perhaps I'll try it sometime.
I used to work at a coffee shop that charged $7 pour overs. You get 2 cups but you have to wait forever for it compared to an Americano.
If you want to simplify this you can ditch the scale and timer and eyeball it. Although I still recommend blooming for 30 seconds.
