Its 1.31pm Sunday afternoon here..I went fishing about 8.30am this morning for a few hours. Caught nothing. Now, cooking myself lunch, starting with a few beers. I might go back fishing when the tide turns late this arvo...but its cold and windy ( 17C) so this evenings plans may change.

I always found it weird that people in the past assigned different time zones to 24 different N-S slices of the earth. Just put everyone on the same time. We'll get used to it.

I don't think we invented it, I think it is something that is always there and we (humans of European decent) merely discovered it and realized we each only have so much of it.
