Existing services have been known to insert nigger DNA results to fuck with people.
They are going to make far more money by using your DNA for research, and or selling it to other companies.
Unless you can sequence your DNA in private, don't.

It would be cool except for that they own rights to sell your genetic information if an opportunity arises to do so and also that they occasionally fudge the numbers to make you think you're mixed.
I tried to find an article I read earlier about this, but all I can get from a search is positive articles and ads for genetic testing. Lol I'll probably be seeing ads on every webpage I visit for the next few months.
The worst part is you may be fucking things up for your family. Imagine a future where one of your fuckup siblings gets a DNA test and then suddenly you're not eligible for a life insurance policy lol.
edit: or judging from where some of these dna testers or said to originate from, maybe you'd end up being charged higher interest on loans XD

Wait until you can do it at home. Potential uses of DNA include, Pre-crime reporting based on DNA characteristics, Human cloning, fake results, social and financial limitations based on DNA.
There was talks of having celebrities copyright their DNA

I was an early adopter of 23andMe. Years later my dad did it and also my sister. I'm glad I did. Turns out, based on our DNA, 23andMe thinks that my dad's probable relationship to me is "father" and my sister's probable relationship to me is "sister." We are all mostly Northern European, with a significant amount of Central European, and a microscopic amount of "broadly East Asian," which I am inclined to guess is due to Gengis Kahn.
I think it's good to have that sort of thing available to you as an option, if you're curious about ancestry. Also, knowing various genetic health risks is a good thing, which I wish I had taken seriously before I had that fucking heart attack.
edit: BTW, my ex-wife did 23andMe recently, and she found out she was 1% African. Now my daughter is afraid to do it.
