Harmful. It encourages males to find a sense of accomplishment in a meaningless activity. Instead of going out and doing and living they retreat inside. Today was Tuesday and I went to this nice white families house and did work on their house. While I was working inside their 20 something year old neet son was playing video games ALL FUCKING DAY. Granted I didn't get there until 9 45 for work related reasons so I cant say the entire day. The parents were lovely people but the dad said "fuck him" when I asked if he wanted to give him a heads up that I was drilling through his wall. Neet faggot. Get a job.

Same question has been asked time and time again about different entertainment mediums.

Everything in moderation. The difference between a medicine and a poison is dosage.

Personally I'll take video games for my entertainment over TV.

If I had other readily available forms of entertainment at a reasonable price I would and will choose them.

I love opera and classical music. However, I'm not going to travel 200+ miles one way every day/week/month to see a showing.

I'll agree with @PMYB2 response to @I_Would_Gas_You experience. That loser kid's parents have failed him.

No. This is a corrupt godless shithole of a nation and you can only prepare your child for so much. Things can happen to break, mold and shape a person, especially the young. He is a grown ass man and his parents took their broken thing back into the household.

It depends - since my kids started playing games (Minecraft, Lego, Mario, War Thunder, World of Tanks/Ships), I've noticed their planning and critical thinking has improved. They've also gotten better at detail work.

because there is achievements there and you know you will come back to do the same after like 5k (in game cash)
