recently learned about blender. I have searched the internet, alas, i don't know what exactly I am asking for so i get nothing.

I was wondering if there was something like Blender but for linux and free, kinda like GIMP is the alternative for Photoshop.

No worries. F/OSS is a weird place to get used to if you've spent most of your time on commercial software.

That sucks. Blender is the only capable open/free mesh editor for Linux that I am aware of. It would be a shame if it gets poszzed by MS.

Well what do you expect when you post such low effort questions on the internet? You obviously did not do even the quickest of searches to answer your own question. Of course the answers you will get will be slightly salty. I could have responded with a 'let me google that for you' link.
