I lost my favorite nudist colonist in Rimworld to the same tragic circumstances. The sun dimmed on that day. Then his dog had several nervous breakdowns and mauled three colonists before we could put him down. Buried right next to his owner. The next day, my brawler ate without a table and all hell broke loose. The majority of the colonists were wiped out before they could even make an adequate stand. Everyone who wasn't dead, was bleeding out. My base was a ghost town, to be picked through by the next caravan. As an electrical fire started, I prayed that they would at least be spared the fire by bleeding out first. They weren't. All this for want of a coat.
