Sometimes my site gets censored so I have to move the URL, a shortened URL will always be the same, so I just update the shortened URL with the new URL.

I don't want to make an oopsie.

I could not update my original question as I was getting an error "Server could not be contacted" after about 8 tries to save the edits.

URL Shorteners are mostly used by spammers to obfuscate spam domains.

If you want to promote your website I suggest you to get to level 2 by posting stuff that poalrs will like (and upvote your content), then create your own sub where you can share your OC.

What's your website related to?

The website just has some individual pages, collections of information and links, like where to go for uncensored social media, where to store files, the history of the Democrat party, history of poor Chinese products, stuff like that. I only post links that are relevant to the conversation, in order to help the community with sourced information.

For science related stuff I collect studies, like for COVID-19. So people can read the study and decide for themselves.

I don't want to promote my website for the website's sake, there's no point to that. I don't care about hits. I don't have ads. I pay for the site out of my own pocket. I have better thing to do than that.

Fair enough.

You don't have to use URL shorteners if you are a legit user and your intention is not trying to spam.

Don't hesitate to use again if you need more help. We're a small community, but we have great people here.

Have a nice stay!

Thank you, kind Poal-er. What are people on Poal called anyway? Poalists? Poaler? Poalite? Poaleteer?
