I’m tired of NY terrible gun laws and living near nogs. My city is 40% nogs, fuck that noise.

I make between 37-60 thousand a yr depending on the ot I work.

Is Phoenix good or anywhere in AZ. I’m also considering Texas.

Thoughts?

AZ is corrupt as fuck.
I would avoid it.

No.

What’s wrong with Phoenix?

That seems like a loaded question.

The only thing NOT wrong with Phoenix is that it's in Arizona [which is still ostensibly a free state, sort of].

I like Flagstaff better. I used to really love Prescott... but it is not what it used to be when I was a little kid...

Thanks for the info. I’m just looking for a state with great gun laws and a lot of sunshine.

Become a citizen and go to the state we've planned to go to. It's a good state our movement aside.

If you have lots of money, it's fine. Water costs more, and your electric bill will be sky high in the summer. Price of property is high because it's a quickly growing area. Since it's growing quickly, good-paying jobs may be hard to find unless one has really useful skills, like a STEM field.

Try a small town on Texas which is near a bigger city where you can get a higher paying job. That's what I do.

Electricity costs more? That’s surprising to hear since I figured solar panels would reduce that expense.

What do you think of Austin TX?

[–] 0 pt

I don't know much about Austin. But power from solar panels starts at $0.35usd per kwh and goes up from there. Solar power is not free, there is regular maintenance and one must replace the batteries, the whole bank at once, about every 6-7 years, depending on the type of battery and the conditions it was in. So one must check the local cost of grid electricity and compare it to 35 cents per kwh to see if solar panels are worth it. Plus a whole house solar panel system might cost $35,000 installed and most people don't have the cash and it STILL may not run your AC. And the tax incentives that are still around (most are gone) are only a 10% or so tax credit. So it's not worth it in many cases.

Your electricity costs will be higher in warmer states as your AC will run a lot more. AC uses a compressor and compressors use a lot more power.

Phoenix is terrible. Summers are unbelievably hot. Texas is much better, especially in the smaller towns.

Move to Idaho.

Why do you say it’s terrible?

It's a huge city. Obscenely hot (not at all a place meant for white people). Can't walk anywhere because the sidewalks are always interrupted. Your whole life is basically trying to survive in A/C.

No idea why anyone would want to move there. There's so many better places to be. Even the Boise, Idaho area is fairly mild weather, only a little bit of snow a year.

Temperature isn’t too bad except for summer right? I’m just looking for a state with great gun laws and a lot lf sunshine.
