it lacked purpose and had no voice, ultimately held no power to change anything.

As bad as the planes were that hit the world trade centre, they had a stronger magnitude of change that the occupy protest could ever dream of.

I think it was a communist front. The "top leaders" of the movement were communists. While the large majority of the activists were just useful idiots.
