Because instead of advertising for products in a good way, it's making a list of products to avoid?
There is that but the name is already planted in your head. Advertisers have long known that irritating you is one way to get you to remember a product. I'm sure you can think of some ads that pissed you off and you said you'd never buy them but you still remember them. Ad companies spend a lot of money on psychologists and studies.
But all i remember is that i should avoid it lol.
Yes, and I avoid them. So that advertising tactic doesn't work on everybody, but it works on enough that they do it.
