The bottom line is that the left’s ideas don’t stand up to scrutiny. This is why they’re so opposed to free speech. They were all about free speech when they were promoting degeneracy in the 1970s and 80s. Now, they’re completely against the idea because it allows their own beliefs to be challenged.
