You could follow the mythbusters format of multi-staging it for 'benefit of the doubt'. Start out with the plain setup, then when you don't die introduce a test subject with previous heart issues (ideally not for real), and then when they don't die have them take meth and fentanyl (again, not actually). And then when they don't die, you drop the, we're going to call this myth busted.
You give my amateur ass far too much credit here. I'll be lucky if I can get a video made, edited, and uploaded of me just lying on the ground (hopefully not really) being crushed to death by 200 lbs. of pea gravel. If someone wants to hijack the base footage and soup it up, I would laugh that much harder.
