Went through the same thing. Went from 20+ people I had regular contact with to down to 1. They were all fuckups. I grew up, they did not.
I've always been a bit slow to grow up, i.e. keep a job, save money, build a resume... But I've also been somewhat mature for my age and groupset. I just assumed people were trying to have a bit of fun while they developed their character and figured out what they wanted to do with their lives, but apparently they just want to feel good while they virtue signal and suck the cock of the beast system. My GD best friend told me it was hilarious that a police horse got stolen and that the negroid (cowboy wanabe (who it turns out was just lying to other people about it being a police horse)) probably left it someplace safe... Now I know the premise is somewhat shot because it was a lie, but my friend didn't know this. He literally thought that a rioter who stole a police horse was gonna leave it somewhere safe. He's actually intelligent, mathwise, science-wise, art-wise and otherwise.... It's like he got the mindvirus and now just accepts the script.
