What is their opinion? We all know what the media's opinion is, but I'm wondering what regular people think.

My family members don't like the riots and recognize they're a problem. My co-workers lean liberal, but even they seem skeptical of the riots and aren't too outspoken about them. Same with several of my friends.

Everyone around me thinks the riots are stupid. Also, if they bring that shit here it wont end well for the riotors.

My liberal father-in-law is a virtue signaling faggot and will probably cheer as joggers burn down his house

The left wing of my family is apprehensive of the local riots (not so much for themselves as the thought someone they care about could be hurt). The right wing is ready for (but not expecting) the agitators to be crushed.

They're all pretty low key and quietly hate the fuck out of the niggers [including antifa obviously] and have to catch themselves and say "THEY'RE NOT ALL BAD!" or whatever. Seriously, mellow southern californians who have always been pretty live and let live aside from our lifelong disgust for illegal aliens are learning to hate faster than I'd expected. Perhaps that's just what the conspirators who are orchestrating this whole mess wants. They WANT the boogaloo! Idunno, maybe they're just inept...

...but I digress.

The conspirators orchestrating and pulling the strings want the boogaloo. They are the ones with the power advantage and have had it for 30 years because they are all pro globalists. They think that by starting it they will get support and push through all kinds of onerous laws to squash them, not realizing that the boogaloo boys learned some valuable lessons about getting baited in 2015 and 2016. So they are staying home and enjoying the show and doing covert stuff (bumpersticker guy in Portland, if that is true) and regular /pol/ antics.

The plan has been to bait whites into striking back, and so far we haven't.

This is the same problem with using the Insurrection Act of 1807 and why I'm on the fence about it - the riots are a baited trap.

It's outrageously obvious. It's a trap for retards; they're obviously not as clever as they think they are.

I hope.

I made a similar comment like that one and I got a "we have to do something reply...what about your X, your Y etc." I firmly and calmly laid out it was an emotion based trap. The fake news is going to have an absolute field day if he invokes the Insurrection Act! They are going to be having nose bleeds like male anime characters while jizzing like the idiot in 40 Days and 40 Nights. Thinking back on it, that's quite the disturbing movie seeing how things are now, sorry for the squirrel moment.

I can see the headlines now - SEE! HE'S A DICTATOR LIKE WE SAID! LITERALLY HITLER!

The deranged pubescent boy on MSNBC - WE GOT 'EM! AND THIS TIME I MEAN IT! What? No, not his taxes...

Its really a stupid incident to get worked up over and allow yourself to be manipulated to such an extent.

Edit - Every damn one of these incidents going back to Ferguson is the same fucking playbook. Every time there's bad or not good news about China out of the White House, there's a distraction story.

THANK YOU for acknowledging that this whole thing is bait. Honestly I think one of the main reasons for the protests is just to get footage of police acting badly. They bait the police, and then any time an officer fucks up they use the footage to shame the police. I'm glad someone else also sees the light.

Antifa is allied with police departments, probably in the most dem controlled cities like NYC, LA, NO, Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta etc. It's listed in their handbook from several years ago they lost in Portland. If you see a department kneeling, they are either allied or just surrendered.

The police departments need to return to being what they always should have been - backup for us defending ourselves. Not what they've become.

The one leftist family member I have has been a small business owner and is pretty disgusted by what's going on. The other right leaning ones are appalled that riots were ever allowed to spring up, let alone outside of just Minneapolis.

I have a socialist friend that sees the riots as glorious retribution against the system. Granted, this was before the riots happened in other places, small businesses were attacked, and someone died.

Most of my family is against the protests due to the riots. My mom hopes there will be aggressive action against looters. It's funny to hear her yell at the TV.

My brother's a cop in Dallas, I don't even know how long he was in the Army but it seemed like every time I talked to our mom he was in Iraq or Afghanistan. We aren't close and we never really got along all that well growing up. The last time I talked to our mom, she said he was fine and that was Sunday. She's getting red pilled by it and starting to become a race realist. She's starting to see skin color as nature's warning sign. My parents live in Richmond, Kentucky which is about an hour south of Lexington. They both think along the same wave length so my dad's the same, probably ahead. She never really understood my distrust of police officers but after talking to him she's starting to get it. When the police chief comes out and says "don't hurt us, why are you hurting us" it kind of shows who's side the police are on. I don't think she realized the mayor appoints the police chief. My parents think the rioters should be shot. I'm sure my brother is over being a cop.

I haven't talked to my youngest two brothers. But they think like I do and are probably asking the same questions I am and pointing out the manipulation online and staying low key out and about. We both got the message from Charlottesville - white nationalists are enemies of the state. When the Orlando fag club shooting happened the three of us were red pilling both our parents about islam.

My wife used to think I was crazy when I would rant about all the corruption, waste and fraud in the welfare system, but she sees it first hand now that she works in ER Admitting. Fucking Saudi's on vacation here with fucking MediCare cards. Fucking idiot coworkers she works with that have 5-10 MediCal cards. Her working with a sheboon was the biggest red pill she's gotten because the damn sheboon didn't do shit and my wife got in trouble for it. My wife thinks the riots are stupid and ignorant running around being useful idiots.

Our oldest son asks tons of questions about these events and I share with him all the knowledge I have gained in my experiences. He saw the viral video before me and asked if you could speak if someone was choking you. We read the initial reports, that set the narrative and I said there's going to be a huge chimp out. I try to do store runs early in the day to reduce the risk of encountering ignorant idiots that allow themselves to be manipulated. He's realized all his friends aren't people he should be hanging out with and naively thinks he can red pill them when schools open back up.

Everyone I know thinks the riots are dumb
