Drinking regularly while maintaining a healthy work and familial life balance... or not drinking at all. I suspect the answer isn't the same for everyone and people's situations can change w/ their level of responsibility. What requires more self control for you?

What's regularly? I'm now limiting myself to once per week and it's been tough. For me it is about my current fitness goals more than anything. I'm trying to cut that last bit of body fat for them shredded abs! 4 srs tho, shit isn't easy.

My secret is daily exercise and alcohol damn near comprises the only carbs I intake. I also won't get drunk on beer etc, liquor is for getting drunk, beer is for social situations where you have like 2-3. I still have 2 beers left from a 12 pack I bought in january. To be fair, I've gotten to like white claws so I barely drink beer at all anymore.

I love IPAs and those things are 200 to 300 calories each, drinking just one or two can be the difference between having a calorie deficit or not.

Those white claws are surprisingly good, very refreshing.

Fuck the black cherry flavor though. That shit is gross. Ruby Grapefruit ftw. I love IPAs as well. Aprihops by dogfishhead is easily the best alcohol to taste ratio I've ever enjoyed in a beer.

Prior one. If you have trouble with addiction taking your drug regularly won't help you quit.

I can recommend books, shows and anime instead of drugs. Because shows and books will end the addiction potential has a built-in limit.

Whenever I feel I'm doing a thing too much I take a break. Sometimes I quit entirely. I can't regulate my smoking so I quit and don't do it at all. If I feel I'm drinking too much... then I take a month or 2 off and do it less when I start again. Drinking I can regulate. Nicotine, not so much.

Good question. It's simply restraint both ways, absent any addiction/dependency.

I couldn't have foreseen that I'd be just as capable and healthy with, as without. Which is what has happened.

So it's a wash for me. Same amount, as far as self-control can be compared.

I'm really not saying one is better than the other. Health wise not drinking whatsoever is obviously better. But imagine life w/o bacon? That's not healthy either lol. I think I like it more than booze.

I find this question irrelevant. The question is: Which gives you a better chance of caring for your family?

What if you dont have a family?

Have you ever tried to poop without peeing? That requires an incredible amount of self control/discipline.

I don't drink out of habit so for me probably drinking regularly
