everyone is too connected. We now can see what success looks like, and see how crap our lives are by comparison to the best which may very well be just a set piece on a sound stage, just like that steamy roast chicken that never looks like the over cooked oil soaked sponge that sits on the shelf for 4 to 8 hours waiting for someone to buy it.

It is this contrast that society has never had to deal with before, and women should never be allowed to make. Think a handful of women gossiping is bad for every married man, think about what happens when a hundred thousand women start talking from across the country. Each of them will soon realize they dont have the best, and will start nagging their husbands for the best, when a hundred years ago they would have been content with their husband's best efforts.

Now, the best effort of a man is never enough, because that man is never the best, and those women stay single because they can't have the best, or worse think they can have the best by working for it.

Suicide comes in when men realize this is the problem and there's nothing we can do to fix it.

Dissatisfaction with life? Many people think happiness should just come naturally, when in actuality you have to work at it to be happy.

Many people think happiness should just come naturally

And why do you think this is? Too much technology making things too easy, too fast?

I think that's definitely a contributing factor. Too easy, too fast, and social media making people think everyone else is having a way better time than they are.

People are pushed into shallow values, consumption, false relationships, less and less time to enjoy their lifes, lack of a meaning to exist. The perception that you're just a fucking disposable sprocket in a senseless machine is too much for some people, I guess.

Society not being able to deal with mental health properly, social media. Also, people not making an environment where everyone is not feeling like that.

Watch the movie The Secret and watch Jake Ducey's videos on YouTube about the Law of Attraction. If one person is sad or depressed, another person may feel like it. It literally spreads like a plague. Unless you're aware of that, you could be susceptible to that.

This might a bit of a standard view but I think people have been fed the same script on how to live a life and people don't see a way out anymore. We ostracize the one who travels the world or who lives a solitary life. We mock the passionate and the curious and put down any ideas that don't go with the norm. The norm is the system that takes away your will and agency and hands it over to false authorities.

These traps can seen in the smallest of things like having to ask to use the washroom and your body in school, not being able to purchase items without 3rd party charge and having to only be able to choose a few options for basic needs.

These are some of the methods used to hand will and control over to authority in the minds of the citizenry.
