Something w/ a man trap door setup should do... Non shoplifters can enter, shoplifters get diverted to a back exit w/ police waiting to write them up for trespassing. Imagine how much more affordable everything would be w/ less shoplifters in store.

This is a thought experiment that would benefit "corporate good". I'm neither arguing for or against... the future will be the future we all choose or acquiesce to.

I know that several large retailers employ facial recognition, even if they don't use it to the fullest. They have cameras at the entrance at eye level and record everyone and the same retailers are known for trying to have your name and address when you purchase something, especially computer equipment and electronics.
