Trying to disarm someone by force is the crime.

Treat the trespassing as a separate matter. They are pushing that private property doesn't exist when they say no crime was committed.

It's actually worse than he dindu nuffin...they are making it seem as if it is okay to wander in someone's home uninvited. They are trying to destroy the idea of private property.
