I just found out that I may be furloughed soon for a month. I'm a responsible guy, I've tucked money away in case of troubles, and I can survive without a months pay with little impact on my life. It's annoying, and I'm unhappy, but I'll live. I'm not swimming in money though, it'll come out to be about 10% of my savings. I'm also single with no dependents. I'm told I can put in for unemployment, which includes that sweet $600 weekly Federal Coronavirus bump on top of it. The problem is that I don't feel comfortable collecting unemployment when I don't need it. I've always been angered by the deadbeats that leech off of the system, collecting unemployment when they don't need it, when they're able bodied and can work. I want to just say no and not file, but there's a part of me that wants to take it anyway. I can work, I want to work, but I'm being told I cant, it's not my choice. What do y'all think? What would you do? Has anyone else been in this situation yet?

Get them gibs if you ask me. I'm betting you'll do something responsible with it and most other people that get it wouldn't.
