Back around 2015-2016, there was a lot of thought devoted to how to expose the truth to people with things like infographics, memes, and informational videos. Then it seemed a lot of that disappeared.

Is anyone still interested in redpilling new people - creating easy-to-understand educational content and sharing it on platforms like Reddit, Facebook, and YouTube?

Even creating content like PragerU videos would be better than nothing. Communists certainly haven't abandoned this; they're giving lectures and creating "educational" videos on economics all the time. Their focus on outreach and public relations is one of the reasons why they're so successful. We should be doing the same.

It turns out the dopamine was strong with the smartphones, likes, facebook, google, twitter, qanon and other addictions. While red-pilling requires bringing people to a cognitive crisis which allows them to unravel and shift to a new paradigm, these other places are more prevalent now and provide a re-dose of the dopamine required to stay in the cognitive bubble. Google, Apple, Facebook etc. have learned and use computational algorithms to learn and affirm biases in real time easing the cognitive crisis back to a place of addiction.

In short, all these red pilled folks fell back into the matrix and didn't realize it. When they try to red-pill others the computers and smart phones ease them back to the blue-pill state.

As I stated above, this doesn't work anymore because those environments are highly controlled. If you want to red-pill people forget about en mass and forget about those environments. Get them here (or into a more potent echo-chamber), one at a time and it will be easier to bring them to crisis where they have no where to run for dopamine. Voat is also a good place to get them to, but is becoming diluted as well.

Also, I'd say the number one way to get people red-pilled is not with memes, but to first get them to denounce all social media, smartphones and mainstream sources for a time (mute the propaganda transmitters) and then you can get their attention. They may at that point find entertainment in a good revisionist documentary or two.

This is putting the cart before the horse IMO. Someone who isn't redpilled won't enjoy Poal at all, so they won't stay on the site. And if there is zero presence on outside platforms, people won't even hear about Poal.

You do make good points about dopamine, and it's always a good thing to promote more people to go on dopamine detox. But they will never get the idea to do that without reaching out to where they are now.

It's time to start moving offline. We should still use platforms like this to create, share and aggregate content that will be useful in redpilling people we know irl.

I think there should be a presence both online and IRL, but everyone should have family, friends, and be involved in their community. If you aren't well-adjusted and successful IRL, you're doing yourself a disservice by participating online.

I agree that platforms like this could be better used though. News articles are okay, but they aren't really relevant to most people unless you can either share them on other platforms or with people you know.

I can understand what you mean in a way, but what I mean is reddit it highly censored and pushing a new idea there is like a drop in the river. Things are more potent on Voat and Poal. I found Voat, Poal and Saidit when I started myself looking for reddit alternatives. I think it was about a week until I was JQ pilled. I was never going to get red-pilled on Reddit.

This is another thing about myself getting red-pilled. I was away from the smartphone for about a year. I was reading a bunch of books on cognitive biases and was able to see things around me weren't adding up and saw a study on how smartphones are mesmerizing kids.

I think the whole paradigm shift idea (like a red pill) needs to be a procured process. For me, I red-pilled myself mostly. But the others around me that have become aware of new things got personally procured doses of information via engagement. They would have never figured a lot of it out or known the right questions to ask on their own. I think I was just lucky.
