I got some while I had plantar fasciitis (torn arches). I would get cortizone shots to help minimize the pain from sitting too long. It didn't hurt, felt like a small rubber ball was in there initially. I got them a few times, once was before a family trip to Disneyland. Once every 3 months roughly. Solved the problem by getting a new bed, Superfeet inserts and my body growing a spur there.
It was a huge improvement for me.
glad to hear they were helpful and became unnecessary. every 3 months sounds more frequent than I've heard of before - but they worked and that's what counts. thanks for sharing.
I was on my feet a lot at that time and it felt like the whole arch was torn off the heel bones.
