I've had mixed experiences with those sites. For PowerShell stuff, I've had more positive experiences in finding what I'm trying to do or being able to take something and adjusting it to my needs. I haven't signed up for any of them though.

Yeah. It's improved. It used to be, or at least it was my experience, that as a new user I couldn't even answer a question. It was infuriating.. like how do you get points to be able to answer a question if you don't have points.

But I seem to have done alright now.

I stopped trying to get points years ago. I figured you had to probably know someone.

I had a positive experience with the AskUbuntu site and still find information on there. The thing is, the information isn't really as good as what you'd find on forum in various threads like (dare I say) Reddit or Poal.

It's been a while since I've seen them and imagine they've probably been swallowed up and pozzed all over like Reddit has. With all the SJW shit all over the Linux community, I'm guessing it's all shit now.
