Well from reading the conversation I went back and re read it(it was public so I'm assuming you have no problem with that) You questioned spreading the faith pretty hard and quoted a few scriptures without considering the context. I personally think when looking at scripture context is important.
That being said I don't think you can say what you said and still claim to believe in the God I believe in, I guess I did fail to ask which god it is you are speaking of.
There is a metric FUCK TON of things you don't get to choose in life that has absolutely nothing to do with merit I can 100% agree with that. However I don't think operating on the notion that nothing good will ever come to you is a good way to operate God takes care of those who have faith and he never gives you anything you can't handle and he is trying to teach you something. People look at the world like it is some kind of cakewalk and if you do the right things it will be easy, I think it is quite the opposite. If you are doing what you are supposed to God will give you challenges to learn and grow. Without struggle we do not learn and we do not grow.
So we may disagree on things but I think that is just another opportunity to learn something.
Ah yeah, that discussion based on "we should show the world how we christian react to corona"
Yeah...
You what killed the republic, right?
Parties, allegiance to the party that's what.... Before the republic itself
I hate religious proselytism, to be clear. It's somehow obscene.
