  • Message Delivered
  • Person opened message
  • Person is typing (or shows thing that they are typing out message)

I'd rather not know. It could start conflict if someone sees it and doesnt respond, especially if it's immediately. I don't care either way, but a good chunk of my family would be pissed if you read a message and didnt respond almost immediately.

The most useful is being notified that the message was seen.

Works well for text messages. Easier to see if somebody is ignoring my messages consistently.
