Secular is extremely bleak. There is nothing more out of the secular answer. In the Christian sense, if they are saved, then they go up to God. Or they end up in Hell. What happens outside of self matter. Selflessness matters. If it didn't then people would run around killing everything. What would matter in the secular sense is keeping people alive for as long as possible to keep their existence going.
