I reject the Christian God concept but absolutely agree that the Christian moral basis is an absolute for western civilization. It still does not address an inherent reason murder is wrong. Just an absolute that God says not to.

See I am not sure if you are a troll or just a very black and white bible thumper. Rejecting the concept of God does not mean one rejects morality.
There is no morality without and apart from God.
Murder of any kind is a-ok in feral tribes of savages from the pigmy to the aztec.... so morality isnt a biological thing. It just mattered if you had the biggest stick. Atheist, once given absolute power, have everytime decided these people or those need to die, what do they base their morals on when they do that? So who would you gas?
