Basically I know that unless I have something actually good to shave with I'm not going to do it. FYI, I basically don't shave, ever.

Like the price differences between Amazon and Ebay are a little concerning. Ebay is usually cheaper but not by that much.

Has anyone ever had a bad experience with a safety razor or are they pretty much always good?

I could see how a safety razor is a bit of a luxury item for some so I could see a situation where like a pen they pretty much all do their job but some are expensive anyway. Or is it because a $5 razor will actually suck?

I'm a big fan of Merkur razors. I'm on my second one but I'd still be using the one my dad bought me when I was a teen if i hadn't lost it. (Long story.) I have two brothers and they both still have theirs.

Ahh, cmon. Spin off that long story into another post.

I have quite a few funny / interesting stories I could tell but I'd rather not inadvertently dox myself.

Well, it involved a truckload of hookers, a honey badger, twelve nuns, and exactly one half of a circus clown.

It's a complicated story, and he doesn't want to incriminate himself, as is his right.

I can understand the hookers, the nuns and half a clown but a honey badger? That doesn't make a lick of sense.

13 nuns. A Baker's dozen of them.
